| Description | The two volumes cover the whole of Hammersmith. They were compiled from individual canvassing books drawn up from the names of those registered to vote. The books are arranged by street within each canvassing area. The entries give registration number, columns for each candidate, a column marked N for no votes (eg policemen), address and name of voter. There is a space for comments. A line is entered in the columns of the two candidates chosen, although many voters are noted as having refused to answer or were not at home. Each volume has a street index |
