26 April 1880 Attendance very good. 258 present.
20 Nov 1882 Report: "The Order, Tone and Instruction of the upper part of the School are very creditable, but I cannot say the same of the lower portion of it. The lower classes are in an indifferent state, and do not seem to have had sufficient supervision and assistance on the part of the Head Teacher."
30 Jan 1894 Report: "The girls are in excellent order, and the instruction generally is deserving of great praise."

10 Dec 1904 "The Head Mistress, Mrs Cranfield, died suddenly of cerebral apoplexy.
She was at school as usual on the 9th Dec."

and consequently the attendance has varied very much."
21 Sept 1905 "The school will be closed tomorrow for the Teachers and children to go
to the Earl's Court Exhibition."
3 Oct 1905 "'I have made arrangements with Mr Dennis, Bootmaker of 339 Fulham Rd, S W to supply boots in December next to the girls who are paying into the 'Star Lane Girls' Boot Fund'."
25 June 1906 "The School Collecting Box for the W[est] Lond[on] Hospital has been opened today. It contained 14 [shillings]. The money was all coppers and has been given by the children."
25 July 1906 "During the school year from Aug 05 till July 06 136 pairs of boots and shoes have been supplied to the children through the Boot Fund"
