14 Jan 1907 "The LCC Nurse again visited the School, which has now been placed on the 'Cleansing Scheme'."
18 Feb 1907 "I have refused to have Florence & Kate Brickell in school till their mother has apologised for using most insulting language and raising her hand to strike me at 12.30 today." [Mother apologised on 22 February, and girls allowed to return following Monday].
2 June 1908 "The Council has given me permission to use Rooms A,B,C for a Rummage Sale this evening from 5.30 - 7. The proceeds to help defray the expenses of a day at the seaside for the girls."
15 Sept 1910 "This Dept. will close tomorrow for the girls to visit the Zoological Gardens (206 girls)."
