Note: the annual school journeys were introduced in 1915 by the head master G G Lewis, who was the innovator of educational school holidays and the Chairman of the School Journey Association. The first four journeys were to Beaconsfield, followed by Weston-super-Mare in 1919 and Ross-on-Wye in 1920 |
