DescriptionThe Loyal Rose of England Lodge, opened in October 1839, was the first lodge to be formed in the Pimlico District, which later became the West London District. Meetings were held in the Kings Arms, 47 Upper Ebury Street (1839-46) the Flask Tavern, Ebury Square (1847-91), The Rising Sun, Commercial Road (1891-97 and 1899-1914), Greyhound Inn, Hugh Street (1897-99), Kings Head, Ebury Bridge (1914-) and later at 174 Ebury Street.

The Rose of England Lodge (the Loyal was dropped by 1850) invested in property, including houses in Linver Road and Oxberry Avenue in Fulham.
