In 1904 the Conservative and Unionist party in the Borough of Hammersmith formed a political club and purchased St Andrew's House, 188 Hammersmith Road, to adapt for that purpose. To meet the requirements of the licensing act all members were required to be shareholders. The company was incorporated on 12 April 1904 |
