Would appreciate any mention of her father [Reuben TW Sayers] in Sir William Bull's book. He moved to 1 St Peter's Square in 1840 and became a churchwarden at St Peter for a time. He painted an alterpiece for St Peter's church which is now in the church at Hever [Kent]. Encloses a description of the painting from a sermon given by the vicar of Hever when the painting was installed there [between 1902 and 1905]. Also encloses a list of models who sat for her father, though these were normally used only for figures in 'subject pictures'. (Neither of the enclosures have been found.) Gives further details of the altarpiece
