Description | Letter from A[nn] Cruttenden, Bexhill to Mrs [Sarah] Bult, Hornsey Lane, Highgate
Sister Hannah is better and has benefited from her stay at Plyden with Philis; Father is also there and is well except for his lameness. Philis's daughter is very fond of her grandfather. Has little news of Phillip and Ricard though they complain, with everybody in the area, that trade is very bad. Is sorry to hear of Mrs Saunders' blindness. Has been unable to let the house all summer, and even Mrs Kenward's children have only stayed a fortnight. Mr Bourne saw Maria at Ramsgate and she and Betsy are well |
