Bequests are as follows:
1. 20s. to the poor
2. To Mrs Cecily Cornwallis "my dear friend", her house and gardens in Hammersmith plus contents and "all debts due to me from the parents of children who have been there educated"
3. To Dorothy Bedingfield "my beloved niece", her house and gardens in York plus contents and "all debts due to me from the parents of children who have been there educated"
4. To the said Cecily Cornwallis and Dorothy Bedingfield (her executors), the "donative" of £100 yearly left her by the late Sir Thomas Gascoine, to be divided equally "for the maintenance of those who shall employ their labour and pains in breeding up of children in piety and learning in the foresaid houses", provided that "when a third house shall be erected by them for the same purpose" the money is divided into equal thirds
